FODMAP — Modify
Use lactose-free milk and gluten-free flour.
Ingredients
Batter
- 1 egg
- ¾ cup milk
- 2 tbsp margarine, melted
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Method
Make the batter
- Beat the egg until fluffy.
- Add the milk and melted margarine.
- Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
Cook
- Heat a heavy griddle or fry pan greased with a little butter on a paper towel.
- The pan is hot enough when a drop of water breaks into smaller balls and dances around the pan.
- Pour about ¼ cup batter into the pan and tip to spread (or spread with a spoon).
- When bubbles appear on the surface and begin to break, flip and cook the other side.
