FODMAP — Modify

Use a gluten-free flour blend, or limit to one slice.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 cup warm water (110 °F / 45 °C)
  • 1 packet (0.25 oz) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp white sugar
  • 2½ cups bread flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Method

Activate yeast

  1. Place the warm water in a bowl. Add the yeast and sugar. Mix and let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.

Make the dough

  1. Add the flour, oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Beat until smooth (by hand or stand mixer with dough hook).
  2. Let rest for 5 minutes.

Shape and top

  1. Preheat the oven to 230 °C. Lightly grease a pizza pan.
  2. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a 12″ circle.
  3. Transfer to the prepared pizza pan.
  4. Spread with sauce and toppings of your choice.

Bake

  1. Bake until golden brown, 15–20 minutes.

Serve

Cool 5 minutes before serving.
