FODMAP — Modify
Use a gluten-free flour blend, or limit to one slice.
Ingredients
Crust
- 1 cup warm water (110 °F / 45 °C)
- 1 packet (0.25 oz) active dry yeast
- 1 tsp white sugar
- 2½ cups bread flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
Method
Activate yeast
- Place the warm water in a bowl. Add the yeast and sugar. Mix and let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
Make the dough
- Add the flour, oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Beat until smooth (by hand or stand mixer with dough hook).
- Let rest for 5 minutes.
Shape and top
- Preheat the oven to 230 °C. Lightly grease a pizza pan.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a 12″ circle.
- Transfer to the prepared pizza pan.
- Spread with sauce and toppings of your choice.
Bake
- Bake until golden brown, 15–20 minutes.
Serve
Cool 5 minutes before serving.
Pairs with
- Basic Pizza Dough — slower alternate with a proper rise for chewier crust
